What BookRecs does

BookRecs is an AI librarian for your taste. Tell it what you have loved and what you are in the mood for, and it recommends books with a short explanation of why each one fits. You can save recommendations to your library, keep a reading history, and build reading plans. BookRecs is available on iPhone and on the web at bookrecs.ai.

Sign in and accounts

BookRecs uses Sign in with Apple or Google. Your library, history, and plans sync to your account so they are available on every device you sign in on.

BookRecs Pro

Pro is an auto-renewing subscription that unlocks the full app. New subscribers get a free trial before the first charge. Prices and plan lengths are shown in the app before you subscribe.

Restore a purchase

If Pro is not showing on a device, open Account in the app and tap Restore Purchases while signed in to the Apple ID you subscribed with.

Manage or cancel a subscription

Subscriptions are handled by Apple. On your iPhone, open the Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose BookRecs to change or cancel it. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the current period.

Delete your account

Open Account in the app and choose Delete Account. This permanently removes your sign-in, library, history, and reading plans. It cannot be undone. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active subscription, so cancel it separately in the App Store.

A recommendation looks wrong or off

Recommendations are generated by AI from what you tell us and can miss. Email us the book and what you were looking for; real examples directly help us improve the librarian.
