Rabbit Hole Support

We are happy to help.

Email support@hbkllabs.com and we will get back to you. Telling us your iOS version and the name of the hole you were reading lets us respond faster.

What Rabbit Hole does

Rabbit Hole is a reader for short, cited deep dives. Each hole starts at the surface and goes deeper the further you scroll, across Mysteries, History, and Research. Every hole is authored and cited so you can follow the sources yourself. You can read with or without narration and save holes to return to later.

Do I need an account?

No. There is no sign-in of any kind. Your saved holes, reading progress and preferences are kept on your device.

Rabbit Hole Plus

Research holes are free. Plus unlocks the Mysteries and History collections, either as a monthly subscription or a one-time Lifetime unlock. Prices are shown in the app before you buy.

Restore a purchase

If Plus is not showing on a device, open Settings in the app and tap Restore Purchases while signed in to the Apple Account you bought with. Plus is tied to your Apple Account; with no account in the app, this is how a Lifetime unlock or subscription comes back on a new device.

Manage or cancel a subscription

Subscriptions are handled by Apple. On your iPhone, open the Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose Rabbit Hole to change or cancel it. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the current period. A Lifetime unlock is a one-time purchase, so there is nothing to cancel.

Clear your data

There is no account to delete. Deleting the app from your device removes your saved holes, progress and preferences. That does not cancel an active subscription, so cancel it separately in the App Store.

Card art is not loading

Card art downloads the first time you see a hole and is cached afterwards. If you only see plain gradient cards, check your connection and pull to refresh. If it persists, email us and we will look into it.

A fact or citation looks wrong

Email us the hole and the line in question. Every hole is cited, and we correct errors quickly.
